Position Overview

As a junior analyst at the NEST Centre, you will contribute to analytical reports and collaborate with a team of experts.

Requirements

  • MA degree or PhD applicant in international relations, political science, sociology, or related fields
  • Native or bilingual in Russian, English proficiency (B2 or higher). Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
  • Current residence outside of Russia
  • Ability to work with large volumes of information and conduct in-depth analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

We are seeking candidates with the following research interests

  • Political processes within Russia
  • Elites in the Russian Federation
  • Processes in Russia’s regions
  • Public sentiments in Russia
  • Russian disinformation campaigns in other countries
  • Analysis of Russia’s foreign policy
  • Analysis of Russia’s influence on political elites and societies in the EU/US, Latin America, and the Global South
