Alexander Golts is a NEST Centre Contributing Author and an Analyst at the Stockholm Centre for Eastern European Studies. For over 40 years, he was a journalist specialising in military issues and worked for several publications, including ‘Red Star’, the official newspaper of the Soviet/later Russian Ministry of Defence.
