Dr Ben Noble is Associate Professor of Russian Politics at University College London and an Associate Fellow of Chatham House. His research focuses on Russian domestic politics, legislative politics, and authoritarianism, and has been supported by awards from the British Academy, the Leverhulme Trust, and the Political Studies Association.

His co-authored book on Alexei Navalny was named a Book of the Year by the Financial Times in 2021 and by Foreign Affairs in 2022, and was shortlisted for the Pushkin House Book Prize.
