Dr Robert (Bob) Seely MBE is a British author and former Member of Parliament with expertise in foreign affairs, security and modern conflict. He served as a Conservative MP from 2017 to 2024 and sat on the Foreign Affairs Select Committee, where he focused extensively on Russia, Ukraine, hybrid warfare and the geopolitical challenges facing Europe and the transatlantic alliance. He has also written widely on authoritarianism, disinformation and strategic influence operations.

Alongside his political career, Dr Seely served in the British Army in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya. He was awarded a military MBE for his service. He holds a doctorate from King's College London and is the author of several books and publications on Russian strategy, democratic resilience and contemporary security threats.
